Siskins - large numbers on the move at present
First signs of spring migration, with White Wagtails along the West Coast (including over 100 on Scilly), a European Barn Swallow on Scilly, numerous Black Redstarts and Common Chiffchaffs and a scattering of Sand Martins; also a HOOPOE newly arrived on St Agnes (Scilly) today.....
However, Winter will return with a vengeance next week, with below freezing temperatures and snow forecast
